OK so I'm writing this blog to document my experiences (and emotions.. trust me, there will be emotions) I come across in my new position as the manager of a newsagency. I haven't held a position like this before, so it's all going to be completely new.
First off, I found out I had the job (had applied a week earlier) about 2 weeks ago, while I was in Sydney for my 21st. Excellent news. The sale had already been delayed by a month because the seller of the business is a nutcase. I thought most of that had been resolved. Turns out there's still some crazy left in her. Now she's acting as if she doesn't want us to buy the business. So the sale is delayed by even more now.
Frustrating.. anyway, so this blog is just somewhere that I can vent about the goings on of my new job (when it starts).
Will write when I have news.
